AT43 Cogs Hunters Preview
The Hunters are the battlesuit of the Cogs tooled for type * afv killing. Packing long range rocket launchers these guys are able to cause significant damage to moderately armoured targets. They move incredibly quick too, able to get to the next tactical position with ease. Each Hunter has 3 shots of 11 strength 2 damage rockets. With an accuracy of 5 , you can expect these things to start flying turn one. The Hunters will make sierps hide in fear, they’ll cover the board on overwatch waiting for your type * AFVs to make a move. The rockets will be usable on overwatch since they aren’t guided, not that they need to be. The high accuracy of the cogs means these things hit at 50% out to 70 cm.
The hunters are going to force commanders to be more wary with their type * AFVs. As with most battlesuits, the solution is snipers. A str 8 sniper rifle will kill these guys on a 5+, but I would also want to throw some AT fire their way. Heck why not nuke the site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
I am eagerly awaiting these guys! Can’t wait to see them in action!
And dont forget they all have re-roll 1 and add a hero (dunno if it is possible) and add fire at will drill…. I want COGS!!!!
you’re right. That extends their range even farther. These guys are going to be scary.
